Divine Wolves
        Chapter 1: The Pack

Long ago before humans came to earth, the air was pure and there lived only animals. And the most populated animal was….The wolf……. “Gah….S-sir please….we’re  exhausted…..we need to stop and rest”….. “No we will not rest; we can not afford to lose sight of the herd!” “But sir, we,” “ENOUGH!!! WE WILL NOT STOP UTIL WE TAKE DOWN OUR TARGET!!!!……There they are……EVERYONE GET READY!”
     The pack formed a tight circle around their prey, and then they went in to take it down. Caribou where scattered everywhere…yet the pack finally took one down. “All right! We did great! Good job everyone!” “Sir we should celebrate! This is the 6th most successful catch for the year!”
     The alpha male Dobarouse, was highly skilled at hunting and had the highest senses in the pack. But the alpha female Donna, didn’t care about anyone but herself…..She never helped with the newborn pups nor did she give them food when she was licked on the jaw…….Dobarouse suspected this when she refused to bring up food for the pups.
     The beta male, Storm, thought differently of Donna than the rest of the pack. “Storm what are you doing?” “I’m s-….” “Yes?... your what?” “sssss…aying hi…to..you?!” Storm struggled to think of an excuse for what he was really doing. “Eh-hem! Yes indeed! So…Hi!...heh…” “…..okay….if you say so Storm…..” “Why don’t you come join us in the feast?” “Mmmm…. Indeed…..The….feast….” Storm was too busy spying on Donna to listen to what Night was offering.
     The beta female’s name was Night. “What are you doing?” “AHHH!!...NIGHT NO DON’T I!...”  “you what?” “!!!...Oh…did I say….Ummm……….eh……. LOOK!! DOBOROUSE IS CALLING FOR YOU!!!”  
    Storm at this point was sweating hoping that his distraction would work. “I don’t hear anything! You sure are acting strange!” “ Now Storm was panicking he was afraid that Night would find out what he was doing. “Ummmm……LOOK!! A DISTRACTION!!!!” “?!! STORM WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!” “I…..I…I got to go!!” “Go? Go where?” “Ummmm…..I just….” “Hello…..Storm!....” “AHH!! Ha ha hi Donna! W-what are y-you doing here?!” Storm had thought Donna had caught him. “I saw you behind this bush!....so I came over to see WHAT you where doing…..” “Ah! Yes I was just…..just….going to…..eat?” “Ahh….I see!.... Carry on!” As Donna walked away Storm sighed with relief “*Sigh* Heh heh! Wow that was close! She almost saw….MEEE?!!?!! AHHH!! Night! I-I forgot you where here!!” “WHERE YOU SPYING ON DONNA?!!” “NO!! No no….no.. not at all!!” “Then what where you doing?!” “……Ummmm…..I was…..uhhh…uhh……….SEE YA AT THE FEAST!!!!” “W-wait! Storm get back here!! Ugh!” “WHERE HAVE YOU AND NIGHT BEEN?!!!!?” “Doborouse sir I was….” “I DON’T WANT TO HEAR YOUR FOOLISH WORDS!!!!!!” “Now go get…” “I’m here sir!!....” “At last we can eat!” “Storm I want to have a talk with you!....” “Heh heh!” “You to Night!” “Oh no, now you got us in trouble!” “Reeeelax Night! It’s not like he’s going to ban us from the pack!” “How can I relax when YOU got us in trouble!” “I am not happy with you two!! You always keep us waiting when we catch our prey!! If you keep us waiting once more I WILL ban you from the the pack!!”
  

    Dobarouse walked away to announce that the pack could eat. “….Ha ha ha ha!! I hope you two DO get banned!......Besides your already worthless to the pack!!...........Everyone says so!” Donna had a smile on her face as she walked away.  “……That evil!!....” “Calm down storm!” “I don’t know why you think Donna is so evil! Why do you think that? I mean your always spying on her or “I WAS NOT SPYING!!” “Oh yes you where! But she has never done anything to us! Or the pack!” “Yes! She HAS done something!”
     “Really? Then what exactly did she do?” “Ummmm…. Well she has done something! I know it!” “your just overreacting!” “NO but she!...ah what’s the use!”  “NIGHT STORM COME HERE!! WE’RE  TIRED OF WAITING FOR YOU!!!” Dobarouse was obviously mad with the two. “ Coming sir!!”As they walked up to their leader he did not look happy. “Eh-hem!” “…..Oh….Sorry sir….” “Mmmm indeed…. LET THE FEAST…BIGIN!” “This is great sir!” “Indeed it is!....The great caribou feast comes only twice a year!......Donna! Come join us in this fantastic feast!” As the pack ate their share Donna was thinking of something different than the feast….
     After the pack ate they returned to the den to give the pups their food for the day…Donna once again was licked on the jaw by one of the pups. She again refused to bring up food for the pup. “Donna why didn’t you give the pup it’s food?!” Dobarouse said with anger yet with curiosity. “I…I did not eat! I was not hungry…” Donna was slightly nervous because Dobarouse could tell if it was a lie. “But……You did eat!....I saw you do so!” “I SAID I DID NOT EAT!!!” Donna screamed with fury yet was nervous when she did this Dobarouse knew she had eaten. “Screaming at the leader is disrespectful!! Not one of my mates had EVER screamed  at me before! Answer my question correctly…. WHY DIDN’T YOU GIVE THE PUP IT’S FOOD?!!” At this point Dobarouse was raging with fury. “I SAID I DID NOT EAT!!” Donna was on a rampage as well. “I SAW YOU EATING!!!” The argument went on….Until it was interrupted by furious barks and growls………
